Artist Bio
Freeland Southard is an Ohio born artist currently living near Cleveland, OH. His work as a general contractor has given him knowledge of construction, materials and collaboration as inspiration for his furniture practice. He loves helping to raise his two boys and daughter, and of course, working in his studio.
Freeland received his BFA in ceramics at the Cleveland Institute of Art and his MFA in Furniture Design from The Herron School of Art and Design.
